Parent/Guardian Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed by Stripe). We may also collect information you provide through support forms or communications with us.
Child Information: To provide personalized learning experiences, we collect limited information about your child within your parent account: first name and age. This information is provided by you (the parent) and is used solely for progress tracking and age-appropriate content delivery.
We do not collect personal information directly from children. We do not collect photographs of children, precise geolocation data, voice recordings, or any other biometric data from children.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve our Services and curriculum content; track your child's learning progress within your account; process payments and manage subscriptions; send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages; respond to your comments, questions, and requests; monitor and analyze usage trends to improve our educational content; and detect and prevent fraudulent activity.
We do not use children's information for marketing purposes, behavioral advertising, or building marketing profiles.
4. Children's Privacy
ABJAD House is committed to protecting children's privacy. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR Article 8 (Conditions applicable to child's consent in relation to information society services).
Key protections include: Only parents and guardians create accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Child data is limited to first name and age, provided by the parent. We do not display advertising or allow third-party tracking on pages where children interact with learning content. We do not share children's data with third parties for commercial purposes. We do not enable children to make their information publicly available.

5. Sharing of Information

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data (including child profiles) at any time by emailing info@abjadhouse.com. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Child data that is no longer needed for active learning progress tracking is not retained beyond the scope of the parent account.

We use essential cookies to ensure the Platform functions properly (session management, authentication). We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Platform and improve our Services. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. On pages where children interact with learning content, only essential cookies are used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure, restricted access to personal data, and regular security assessments. Payment information is processed by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
