1. Terms and Conditions
1.1 These terms and conditions govern all offers, agreements, and transactions related to the use of the ABJAD House Arabic language learning platform. ABJAD House, located at 500 Gladstone Ave, Ottawa, ON K1R 5P1, and registered under the Canada Business Corporations Act (No. 15433606), is hereinafter referred to as "the Platform."
1.2 The Platform provides Arabic language learning services designed for children ages 4-10, accessed and managed by parents or legal guardians ("Users" or "You").
2. Acceptance of Terms
2.1 By accessing and using the Platform, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not continue to use the Platform.
2.2 You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and are a parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) who will use the educational content.
3. Parent and Guardian Accounts
3.1 The Platform is operated on a parent/guardian account model. Only adults aged 18 or older may create accounts.
3.2 Children do not create their own accounts. Parents and guardians are responsible for managing account access and supervising their child's use of the Platform.
3.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Children's Use and Parental Consent
4.1 The educational content on this Platform is designed for children ages 4-10 and is intended to be used under parental or guardian supervision.
4.2 By creating an account and enabling your child to use the Platform, you provide verifiable parental consent as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
4.3 You may revoke consent and request deletion of any data associated with your child's usage at any time by contacting us at info@abjadhouse.com.
5. Educational Content and Curriculum
5.1 The Platform offers a structured Arabic language curriculum consisting of three levels: Level 1 (Letters and Foundations), Level 2 (Words and Sentences), and Level 3 (Stories and Reading Fluency).
5.2 All educational content is developed for informational and educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy and quality, ABJAD House does not guarantee specific learning outcomes, as results depend on individual effort, consistency, and other factors.
5.3 Content is protected by copyright. Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for private, non-commercial educational purposes within their household.
5.4 Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written permission.
6. Subscriptions and Payment
6.1 Access to curriculum content requires a paid subscription. Subscription plans and pricing are detailed on the Platform.
6.2 Payments are processed securely through Stripe. ABJAD House does not store credit card or payment information on its servers.
6.3 Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of initial purchase. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days for a full refund.
7.2 After the 14-day period, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

8. Child Safety
8.1 ABJAD House is committed to providing a safe digital environment for children. The Platform does not include third-party advertising, external links to non-educational sites, social features (chat, forums, messaging), or user-generated content accessible to children.
8.2 We comply with COPPA and applicable GDPR provisions regarding children's data protection.
8.3 If you believe that a child's privacy has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@abjadhouse.com.
9. Data Collection and Privacy
9.1 We collect only the information necessary to provide our services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9.2 Personal information of children is limited to first name and age (for progress tracking within the parent's account) and is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
9.3 Cookies may be used to enhance user experience, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Acceptable Use
10.1 You agree to use the Platform only for its intended educational purpose.
10.2 You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, interfere with its operation, or use automated systems to access content.
10.3 You may not share your account credentials or allow unauthorized individuals to access your subscription.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 All content, design, graphics, audio, and software on the Platform are the property of ABJAD House or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.
11.2 The ABJAD House name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of ABJAD House.
12. No Advertising
12.1 The Platform is entirely ad-free. We do not display advertisements of any kind, ensuring an uninterrupted and safe learning environment for children.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." ABJAD House makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the content.
13.2 ABJAD House shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
13.3 Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Termination
14.1 You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
14.2 ABJAD House reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
14.3 Upon termination, your right to access the Platform and its content ceases immediately.
15. Governing Law
15.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15.2 Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
16. Changes to Terms
16.1 ABJAD House reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users by email or by posting a notice on the Platform prior to the effective date of material changes.
16.2 Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
